Mixed tattoo 182
Here's a new design I just finished, it's a mix of traditional Marquesan patterns with the "mata hoata" (brilliant eyes) at the top of the tattoo and the "kake" (arms of a tiki figure, symbolising rising or ascent). Some spearheads (courage) and also stylized bonitotails ("hiku atu") , symbolizing speed,on the lower left.
It's mixed with some Maori koru curves. Below you see a digital mockup of the tattoo on a lower arm.
I also shot a video during while drawing, so you can see how it was designed.

Size: 23 x 14 cm (9 x 5,5 inches)
Price: 36,30 euro (43 USD)

This picture shows the tattoo digitally placed on a blank inner forearm and calf.
It's not a 100% accurate, but gives you a rough idea how the design will look when tattooed.

Images are hand drawn on A3 paper and scanned at 300 DPI. Preview a real size tattoo here.
